Available roles:

WEED STEEV - Your friendly neighborhood drug dealer.  Male, Caucasian, mid-to-late twenties. Tall (6’ 2”), big open face and jawline. Confident, cocky, and somewhat hot-headed. His smile alternates between terrifying and friendly. For a hot headed drug dealer who flips out often, he really is a nice guy.
Wardrobe: Over-sized dark hoodie with the hood up. 

Shoot date: TBD in Dec or Jan
Compensation: Credit, copy of footage for reel, consideration for full pilot

When Connie initially named her shop on Ninth Street the ‘Ric Rac’, what she really meant was ‘bric-a-brac,’ an assortment of fascinating junk. Decades later, with the Ric Rac reopened as a performance space run by her musician son and her comedian other son, the venue stays true to the concept with stage acts that run the gamut. Following a hiatus, Connie’s is bringing comedy back to the market with a show featuring members of 6th Borough who have co-opted a ukulele player for their act, as well as something surely salacious from club owner Frank Tartaglia. On top of the entertainment, Connie’s promises to feed you chicken in its most popular and least healthy form: it’s free, and it’s fried. -Abdullah Saeed

The Return of Zimlinghaus - November 6, 2010

Kenny Zimlinghaus returns to Connie's Ric-Rac after a sold out show his last time in Philly! Kenny will perform a night of stand up comedy with special guest Greg Johnson and local favorite Doogie Horner! 

Kenny is a former intern for The Howard Stern Show and worked as the youngest morning show host ever at WFNX Radio in Boston. You can also hear him on Cosmo Radio Sirius channel 111 and XM 162 "Wake up with Cosmo".
